Math problem

On a Saturday night 3 tables of 4 women, military spouses each about the age of 30 (+/- 5 years), meet to play Bunco. In addition to the assorted yummies, there are 2 pitchers of Long Island Punch.

If 9 of the 12 women are indulging in the Long Island punch and the 3 tables of 4 women, military spouses each about the age of 30 (+/- 5 years), contribute $3 to the "Dollar Game" at the end of the evening and one girl wins the "pot", how much cash does she go home with?

In addition, how much of the Long Island Punch was left at the end of the evening? Was 2 pitchers enough for this group of women?

Discuss.
