Today, I'm not here. I'm HERE! I'm reviewing a book my dear friend gave me that has really changed my grumpy perspective on our latest move. Go read and let me know what you think!

I never put down roots for fear of one of these starting to gnaw on them... http://phoenix.about.com/od/deasertcreatures/ss/paloverdebeetle.htm
Seriously, since I was a AF brat I moved around all my life - the longest we ever stayed in one place was two years. As a result moving was less traumatic since we did it all the time. I think one of the advantages mil spouses have is that when you get dropped some place new, there are usually other people there who know exactly how it feels. Even if there isn't a formal process (remember Welcome Wagon?) I think it helps.
Very nice review. Sounds like a good book for military spouses, especially those who have never left home before and are experiencing their first move.
Great - as if I didn't already have issues sleeping! Now I'll have nightmares about nasty beetles. Thanks P!
Crista ~ new military spouses and military spouses that stay in one place too long and get out of practice!
You are so right!! I've definitely gotten out of practice, as I've been here 5 years!! ACK!! The next one will be rough, as it will coincide with sending my Diva off to college. I'll be a giant ball of mushy goo, I'm sure.
